Account Deletion & Data Removal
SabiFunds gives you control over your data. You can delete your account and associated information at any time.
How to delete your account
Option 1: Delete directly in the app (recommended)
- Go to Profile
- Open Settings
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm your request
Option 2: Request deletion by email
- Email us from your registered email address.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request or Data Deletion Request.
- Send to: support@anthizgroup.com

We may contact you to verify account ownership before proceeding.
Deletion timeline & grace period
- After a deletion request is submitted, for account deletion, your account enters a short grace period (currently up to 24 hours) during which it can be restored if the deletion was initiated in error.
- After this period, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion.
- Deletion is processed as promptly as possible once any required verification is complete.
What data is deleted
When your account is permanently deleted, the following data associated with your account is removed:
Selective Data Deletion Requests
You do not need to delete your account to request removal of specific types of data.
You may request deletion of certain records while keeping your account active.
How to request selective data deletion
- Email us from your registered email address.
- Use the subject line: Specific Data Deletion Request.
- Clearly describe the data you would like removed (for example: specific projects, expenses, receipt uploads, or other personal records).

We may contact you to verify account ownership before processing your request.
How selective deletion works
- Where technically feasible and legally permitted, requested data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
- If the requested data is linked to shared or collaborative projects, certain records may be anonymised instead of fully removed to preserve project integrity.
- Approved records forming part of audit history may be retained in anonymised form where required for system integrity or fraud prevention.
- Some information may be retained where required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, or prevention of abuse.
Account & profile data
- Email address and account identifiers
- Country and currency preferences
- Authentication credentials (password hashes)
Financial and project data
- Personal income and expense records
- Categories and custom labels
- Projects you own
- Expenses you submitted
- Contributor relationships linked to your account
- Approval and submission records tied to your user identity
Uploaded content
- Receipt images or other files you uploaded (where applicable)
Shared projects and collaboration data
If you participated in shared projects, your personal identity and account data are deleted. Some records required to preserve
another user’s project integrity may be anonymised rather than fully removed. For example, an expense you submitted to someone else’s
project may remain as an anonymised record so the project history remains accurate.
System data and logs
To operate securely and reliably, SabiFunds may maintain limited system-level data such as:
- Login and access timestamps
- Action or audit logs (e.g. approvals, submissions)
- Security and error logs
- Temporary reset or verification tokens
These records are not used for profiling or marketing and are not visible to other users. They may be retained for a limited time where required for
security, fraud prevention, system integrity, or legal obligations. Where possible, such data is deleted or detached from identifiable user information.
What may be retained
Even after account deletion, we may retain limited information where required to:
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes or enforce our terms
- Prevent abuse or fraud
- Maintain security and system stability
Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary and handled securely.
